Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you meet our representative for the transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area crossing on the way the small villages of Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu with unique views of the high altitude rain forest surrounding the ring. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 2 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Game viewing in Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast departure for a full day of game viewing discovering the beauty and abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge or Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart to Serengeti National Park stopping on the way at Olduvai Gorge, the archaeological site made famous by Louis & Mary Leakey discoveries. Lunch and afternoon game drive in the most famous of all the sanctuaries and one of the last great strongholds of wildlife in the world. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge or Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 4 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Game viewing in Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drive in the park, with its huge concentration of plain game. Expect to see zebras, wildebeests, antelopes of all sorts, lions, giraffes, elephants among others. Full board and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge/Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara National Park. Lunch and afternoon game drive in this superb scenic park set around Lake Manyara, most famous for the tree-climbing lions and hippos in the lake. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Lake Manyara Hotel. Distance: 205 km (4 hours).

Day 6 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park for evening game viewing. Expect to see zebras, wildebeests, elephants among other game animals. Full board at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire Safari Lodge.

Day 7: Tarangire – Arusha

After breakfast and early morning game drive, transfer to Kampala for overnight at Imperial Royale or Metropole hotel or The Lodge BB

Day 8 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: The Source of the River Nile

Depart Kampala by 8.00 am; drive to Jinja the second largest town in Uganda. It is characterized by the Asian quarters, the brewery industries and the colorful gardens. Visit the Source of the Nile on Lake Victoria, the monument of Gandhi, and then proceed to the “Bujagali Falls”, to view the spectacular rapids on the river Nile a few kilometers from the source. OPTIONAL: Try the unforgettable emotion of the white water rafting, which is one of the main attraction in Jinja. In the Evening return to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Mbale Resort or Mount Elgon Hotel FB.

Day 9: The marvelous Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning, leave Kampala driving northwest to Murchison falls national park. Visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a nature walk to see the rare rhinos in the wild. Lunch in Masindi Hotel. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest protected area in Uganda, with 3.840 Kms, named after the falls on the Victoria Nile. Relax a bit at a situated site on the top of the spectacular falls, where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a seven-meter canyon. The 43-meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best of the Nile River. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 10 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: The Boat cruise on the River Nile

Start the day with an early morning game drive in search of those animals that are unique to the African Savannah like giraffes, antelopes, lions, elephants, and the Uganda kobs. The birdlife is also impressive, with the eagle being one of the prized sightings and the rare shoebill. During your game drive request your guide to show you the Congo Blue Mountains, on a clear morning. After lunch, you will go for a launch cruise on the Nile River. The cruise takes you to the Bottom of the thundering falls where you will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds like herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagles and sometimes the rare shoebill. Day 11: Fort Portal at the foothills of the Mountains of the Moon

Transfer from Murchison Falls driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. We ensure that you have packed lunch, drive through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro kingdom, passing though verdant countryside, tea plantations and traditional homesteads. You arrive in the colorful and pretty town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” (Rwenzori).Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel or Ataco country resort .FB

Day 12 of 14 Days Tanzania Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour: The boat cruise on Kazinga Channel

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, following the mystical Ruwenzori Mountain Range most of the journey. A game drive en-route may be rewarded with view of waterbucks, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, spotted hyenas and a variety of antelope species. Arrive early for lunch on top of the Mweya peninsula. Enjoy the unique two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with well over 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 13: Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queen’s mile in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, plus a lot of small animals and birds. You will reach the Lake George. Drive back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon drive to the splendid Crater Lakes region for sightseeing.Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
